All About Her Activities Planned
We're celebrating 'All About Her' in February again this year. We've got some new and, we think, exciting events lined up. Mark them on your calendar and come be a part of some of the fun.

Feb. 27 - Cooking demo featuring Christina Campbell. From 4:30 to 6 pm, Chef Christina will be whipping together something fabulous at the winery. She'll be creating Brie and Raspberry Tartlets and Chocolate cups filled with vanilla bean pastry cream.

With the Brie and Raspberry Tartlets, a golden brown flaky crust holds a beautiful secret of rich melted brie and sweet raspberry puree. Demo will include making the crust and assembling the tartlet.

The chocolate cups filled with vanilla bean pastry cream and macerated fruit served with red wine chocolate sauce is a beautiful bicolor chocolate cup that holds decadent pastry cream topped with sweet macerated mixed fruit. The demo will include making the chocolate cups, pastry cream, macerated fruit and red wine chocolate sauce. In addition, Chef Christina will demo how to make piped chocolate decorations and how to plate the dessert.

This event is free, but give us a call if you plan on coming out so we can plan to have a seat for you.(660) 493-0258.

Wine of the Month
Sweet Beginnings is the February wine of the month. This is a sweet white wine made from the Catawba grape variety. Receive 15 percent off case purchases of Sweet Beginnings, and 5 percent off bottle purchases (less than 12). If Sweet Beginnings is your favorite, February is the time to come see us.

Encore is  Back
I'm pleased to announce that Encore is back on the shelves. This is a semi-dry red blend of Cynthiana, Chambourcin, Concord and Seyval blanc. It offers  very fruity aromas and tastes. Come in and try it. $11 per bottle.

Barrels for sale
We still have some barrels for sale. These 59 gallon American oak barrels have been used for approximately three vintages of wine (maximum of 6 years). And while they can't be used for wine making, they can make a great rain barrel or planter. The barrels are also great to create a vineyard/winery ambiance to a room or patio.

Used barrels can be purchased for $75 at the winery. Come with your truck and supplies to tie it down, we'll help you load it!
